Pipe & Joints.

Easytube pipe racking system offers a wide range of modular components such as reusable steel tubes and rapid assembly connecting joints, brackets, roller tracks, parts and accessories, which enable you to design and build a variety of versatile structures, applications and solutions that can be integrated into a Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen environment without any difficulty. Steel pipes available with colour coded plastic coating, with powder coating or in stainless steel, are cut to length to suit your individual designs. These are simply connected by a wide selection of steel joints and accessories, enabling a rapid assembly of structures.

The concept of pipe and joint systems came to our attention some years ago when we were dealing with the philosophy of Lean Production. We initially distributed the products of a major European manufacturer and were very successful in Germany, Austria and Hungary. The market potential far exceeded that of any other product in our range. After working with several suppliers and seeing the weaknesses within these, we decided in 2007 to launch our own product: Easytube.

Of course, we followed international standards as regards dimensions of the pipe and the joints – one of the major advantages of this system for any customer is that the parts from all major manufacturers are compatible. Needless to say, we chose quality over price when selecting grades of steel, plating, precision and finishing. Our rapid growth has proven this decision to be correct.

Pipe and joint systems, as an efficient tool for implementation of Lean Manufacture, lay bare the potential for improvement in the areas of design of work places. Because the principles are easily understood, the material relatively cheap and the possibilities endless, the first successes in improvement are rapid and build enthusiasm for further change.

A cycle thus results, the improvements in one department fuelling the appetite for change in others, work done in one area showing new potential elsewhere. Nor does this end at the workstation or individual applications such as trolleys, flow racks or packaging areas, it soon becomes evident that this tool can be applied to redesign the entire manufacturing area, giving flexibility where none existed previously. Properly applied, pipe and joint systems offer the opportunity to greatly improve productivity in a wide range of manufacturing, packaging, storage, retail and logistic industries.

PEK3 is now a major supplier of these systems throughout Europe – and beyond! We have customers in northern and southern Africa, South America, Russia, Turkey and throughout Europe. Our assembly teams are based in Poland, France, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia and Morocco. Our principal stocks are in Germany with smaller stocks in other locations as required.
